Mudroom Design Options by One Kind Design & Jorgenson Lockers

Do you have a window to work around? We love this, all of this. Contrasting wood top with the painted cabinetry is so pretty. Open shelves and hooks for coats, bags and things!

“This mudroom offers form and function, measuring about 9.5 feet in length. The paint color used in the built-ins is Benjamin Moore, Wedgewood Gray OC-146. The light fixture is from Shades of Light—clear glass prism pentagon ceiling light in bronze. (via Anchor Builders)”

Have a window to work with and some space? This one is a winner. Thoughts? The tile floor is bold against the white cabinetry, open shelves and bead board. The wooden bench seating coordinates with the baskets.

Rolling Out

Do you lose things in the back of your cabinets? Or forget what you have? And the bending over, it gets old, right?

This family wanted to add needed rollout drawers to a base cabinet and a pantry cabinet. We were happy to help!

If you skip the rollout option when you purchase your cabinetry, don’t worry….this can be corrected!

We chose to make the drawers, not buy inserts. Maple stock with a plywood bottom, each with dove tail joinery and full extension drawer slides.

Clients are very happy, which means we are also.

Thanks for stopping by!

Let’s look at building a house.  Perhaps you have always wanted a timber frame home, but, it doesn’t fit into the budget.  Compromise here is EASY, easy for us at least, go with a hybrid. Combine timber framing and conventional framing, trust us, it’s still wonderful. If you can’t build the big house you want now, be sure the design is friendly to an addition later on. We recommend going with a CAPE.
